Sandra Yancey on Leading Conversations radio with Cheryl Esposito

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Sandra Yancey Founder & CEO of eWomenNetwork, the premier women’s business network in North America. She is author of Relationship Networking: The Art of Turning Contacts Into Connections and her newest project, Succeeding in Spite of Everything a book of lessons learned and savvy moves that inspire and shake-up old paradigms of success.

Succeeding in Spite of Everything could be the title of Sandra Yancey’s life. She grew up with a single mom, her father died when Sandra was 5 years old. Her mom helped her know that she could be happy no matter what, and that she could have anything she wanted in life. She set out to do just that. Sandra married her high school sweetheart, graduated college, became a successful (and overworked) executive, had a child, then asked the question: what really matters? She had an epiphany and changed her life- at least she thought she had.

Trading her corporate job for an entrepreneurial lifestyle, she found that she had a new role but the same work habits: overworked, too much travel, not enough time to spend with her family, and less time to take care of herself.

Time for another epiphany and a lot of courage! Where did it come from? How do some people live with resilience in situations where others crumble? Join Cheryl Esposito and Sandra Yancey to learn the secrets of Succeeding in Spite of Everything!

Direct Sales Relationships

direct sales business Direct Sales Relationships Start Before Hello!

Of course it is true that you must open communication in order to develop relationships but even before you say hello your ability to connect starts with a smile!

There is an old Chinese proverb that says: A man without a smile must never open a shop.

Deb Bixler says: Smile like a tiger and show your teeth.

When you look people in the eye and smile, you are able to engage them even before you begin talking. Selling really is all about engagement. The ability to connect is the ability to sell.

So, a person without a smile should never start a direct sale business. People are always attracted to happy, positive people. Your smile tells people a lot about what kind of person you are. Attraction marketing…. attracting people who want to do business with you… starts with a smile and is followed by a hello.

Business Success Tip

Your smile makes people feel good and it also makes YOU feel good. It has been proven that positive thoughts can cause you to smile. If you do not feel happy enough to smile, then think good thoughts.

It has also been shown that a smile can create more positive thoughts. So, one creates the other and a happy smiling person will just keep getting happier and smiley-er. Of course a direct sales consultant with a big smile will also create more engagement which will improve sales and that makes us happy too!

Your business relationships start with a smile and are followed by a hello! When you incorporate these and other direct sales business tips into your business you will create a consistent income year round.  Join us on The CashFlowShow – Direct Sales Radio every Wednesday at 8:00 PM EDT!

Stewart Emery on Leading Conversations radio

Stewart Emery, 6/24/11, 10am PT, on Leading Conversations radio with Cheryl Esposito to discuss, “Leadership By Design”

Cheryl Esposito welcomes Stewart Emery, entrepreneur, executive coach & corporate culture consultant; he is considered a father of the Human Potential Movement & served as the first CEO of est. A bestselling author, his books include Success Built to Last: Creating A Life That Matters, and his latest with Robert Brunner: Do You Matter? How Great Design Will Make People Love Your Company. If you think design is only what gets created on paper or in the look of a logo or product or service, you’d be wrong according to Stewart Emery. It is so much more than that. Leadership drives a company’s culture which in turn speaks loud and clear to customers: your products and services are talking to people. Are they saying the right thing? What is your brand and who says so? (hint: it’s not you and it doesn’t live at your corporate headquarters…). How do your brand and the client experience intersect? And what does that have to do with design? Join the conversation for that and more!
