The software helps assemble 2D photos of an object to create a 3D model. Tim Caffrey who has an engineering and advertising background will discuss the current trends for the industrial systems. Chris Anderson will share insight from his new book, Makers: The New Industrial Revolution and about the potential economic and social impact of 3D printing. Some have predicted that someday we can "print" our own houses and change the design every few years. Others have suggested that it will ignite another industrial revolution and resurgence of American manufacturing. In the interview, Nancy will get the experts' views on these predictions and examine the promise and risks that 3D printing may pose for the future.
