Health Freedom in 2012 – Why it Matters more Now Than Ever, with Beth Clay

Beth Clay, senior vice president of Capitol Strategy Consultants, was the former senior professional staff member on the House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Government Reform with Chairman Dan Burton. Ms. Clay oversaw all healthcare oversight hearings of the Committee, including looking at the role of complementary and alternative medicine in our health system; the FDA's enforcement of the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act; and vaccine injury issues including anthrax vaccine injury in the military and the epidemic rise in rates of autism and its relation to vaccine injury and ingredients such as thimerosal. Ms. Clay served as a member of the US Delegation of the Codex Alimentarius Commission Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses. Interview topics include dietary supplements, free speech, why labeling matters concerning GMO or bioengineered food, autism, whole foods, and healthcare.
