History was made last Friday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the Grand-Am Rolex Series and the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge ran their first ever races at the Brickyard. Being the very first to win an event at Indy is special. On Pit Pass USA, we talk to three gentlemen who did just that. Alex Popow who co-drove the Startworks Motorsports Daytona Prototype to victory will join us as will Andy Lally who was onboard the Mangus Racing winning Porsche in GT.
Eric Curran put his name in the record books helping to bring home the CKS Motorsports Camaro to the top spot in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge’s GS category.
And finally..it took almost 4 years…but 9-time ARCA champion Frank Kimmel ended his winless streak claiming victory at Lucas Oil Raceway in Indy Friday night and he’ll stop by to talk about his 75th career win.
