Kathryn the Grape® Music CD Wins Gold Mom’s Choice Award®
SAN DIEGO, June 28, 2012—Kandon Unlimited, Inc., bringing the magical and colorful world of Kathryn the Grape to life through children’s books, music, and messages of love, kindness and adventure, announced today that its first CD, Believe, Kathryn the Grape Songs For Kids of All Ages, has been named among the best in family-friendly media, products, and services by the Mom’s Choice Awards, earning a prestigious gold award of excellence. This isn’t the first time the Kathryn the Grape brand has been so honored; its first two books, Kathryn the Grape—Just Like Magic and Kathryn the Grape’s Colorful Adventure, featuring an “everyday girl” who helps children develop authentic self-love, won Mom’s Choice Awards earlier this year.

Cloward collaborated with musician and producer Astra Kelly to create this award-winning music CD, which was produced and mixed at San Diego’s Capricorn Studios. Kelly is the lead vocalist, while Cloward sings backup vocals along with six “everyday San Diego kids” who were ecstatic to have the opportunity to sing in a recording studio and have their work enjoyed by their peers around the country.
